Transform Your Emotional DNA

Read an excerpt from The Bliss Exercise

Every now and then a book comes out that is a trailblazing effort on a subject whose time has come. Transform Your Emotional DNA by Theresa Dale, Ph.D. is just such a book. In an era when mind-body interaction and its relationship to health is a primary concern, this work clearly and vividly explains how you can take control of the blueprint of your life.

Expanding on research done by pioneers such as Dr. Reinholdt Voll in Germany, Dr. Dale explains how emotions maintain different energy patterns in the body. If these are overloaded and disturbed, they cause disease patterns. Further, she explains how the DNA code itself contains patterns that may lead to everything from disease to bad self-esteem.

Dr. Dale’s message is one of hope. “The good news is that you can change disease patterns and life conditions if you act on your desire to change.” That is the essential belief that Dr. Dale feels everyone can adopt, and in doing so, turn their life around, and she shows you how in her new book.

In her book, Dr. Dale also explains how resistance to feeling your own emotions can lead to illness. She believes, first and foremost, that the individual who is in touch with their emotions is truly taking responsiblity towards having a better life.

It is the accomplishment of this remarkable work that Dr. Dale de-mystifies a subject as weighty as DNA. She makes you literally feel that Deoxyribonucleic Acid — or DNA, as it is popularly known — is something within our reach to understand and change. After all it is our life and our life’s blueprint.

Naturopathic Endocrinology

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is based on the incorrect assumption that your body becomes incapable of producing appropriate amounts of hormones simply because we reach a certain age. Your body does alter its hormone production as you pass through the stages of life, but hormone problems are a function of how healthy you are, not how old you are.

Any hormone replacement, whether it is natural or not, actually causes the body to slow down the production of its own natural hormones, including melatonin, DHEA, progesterone and human growth hormone. HRT does not treat the cause of any problem, it only addresses-and perpetuates-the symptoms.

Women are no longer willing to accept the risks associated with synthetic hormones, and are searching for safer alternatives. The negative side effects of traditional hormone replacement therapy is well documented and includes cancer, gallstones, blood clots, high blood pressure, liver disease and cataracts.

New research is continually emerging. An estimated two million women are now using synthetic, natural “plant-derive” and synthesized “bio-identical” hormones. The problem for the consumer is education. They simply do not know what their base line hormone levels are before and during product usage and what effects long-term usage will produce.

A Naturopathic approach to balancing hormones begins with saliva testing and homeopathy. It incorporates diet, nutrition, dental health, exercise, emotional release work, colonics and herbology.

Stop Replacing Hormones, Rejuvenate Them

The Reality
Thousands of saliva test results (before and after) indicate homeopathic formulas stimulate needed amounts of hormones even with women who have undergone surgery for a complete hysterectomy.

Homeopathic remedies, in general, are not effective in a formula with natural or synthetic hormones, coloring, preservatives, flavoring, essential oils or fragrance, vitamins, and herbs. In this case, the homeopathic remedies will be neutralized and will not work.

Women with hysterectomies can produce enough of their own hormones by using homeopathic formulas. HRT will only exasperate the condition, causing dependency, adrenal cortisol stress and toxic levels of hormones.

Diet and exercise has a great influence on hormonal balance. Caffeine dehydrates the adrenal glands affecting cortisol levels and sugar exhausts them. An endocrine rebuilding diet is a must for all hormonally challenged patients.

Root canals and other dental problems (focal disturbances) can be the main cause of accelerated aging and hormonal imbalances.

The synthetic U.S.P. hormonal creams sold over-the-counter, synthesized from soy or wild yam, are no longer natural. In addition, they have not been thoroughly researched for safety. They are mass marketed, mostly as a cosmeceutical, throughout health food stores and health professionals.
Hormones are dispensed without hormone saliva testing to determine hormonal status.

Biological age is more important than chorological age when determining proper hormone ratios and patients programs.

The consumer does not always follow directions making it hard to administer the precise amount the body needs. The amount and quantity used of these preparations can easily overload the body, causing abnormal hormone ratios and liver toxicity.

ALL hormone replacement whether applied topically or taken orally, causes organs and glands to slow down or stop production of naturally produced hormones.

Adrenal cortisol levels are related to hormone production. Long Term Use of HRT has been linked to breast cancer. Natural and Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy has side effects. No randomized trial has found a reduced risk of heart attack, premature death or chest pain among women taking hormones.

In fact, HRT may actually harm women with existing heart disease.

The Myths

  • Hormone replacement protects against osteoporosis and heart disease.
  • Hormone replacement treats the cause of the problem.
  • Once the body slows down the production of naturally occurring hormones you need to start HRT.
  • Diet does not matter.
  • Traditional synthetic HRT does not have side effects.
  • Natural and Bio-identical HRT does not have side effects.
  • Women with hysterectomies can no longer produce certain hormones.
  • Women with hysterectomies need HRT.
  • HGH is safe for consumption.
  • Melatonin is safe for consumption.
  • DHEA is safe for consumption.
  • HRT is necessary for women after 40 years of age.
  • Very high levels of progesterone from natural HRT, as seen in blood and saliva testing, is not toxic.
  • Natural hormone replacement is safe, if monitored. (The fact is that all hormone replacement will stop or slow down the ability of the body to produce its own hormones).

First, Saliva Testing
Saliva collection is simple, non-invasive, and can be performed in the privacy of one’s home.

Saliva testing is not nearly as accurate if the collection time of the saliva does not correlate to the TCM Five Element Theory. Having a patient give a saliva specimen at any convenient time will not yield specific and accurate measurement of hormones related to meridians, organs and glands that are producing hormones.

Saliva testing measures the levels of circulating hormones available to body tissues.

Saliva is considered a better indicator of biologically active hormone levels than serum – more accurately reflecting the body’s functional hormonal status.

Over 20 years of research has proven the effectiveness of using saliva (instead of serum or urine) as a diagnostic medium to measure the “free” (unbound) bioavailable, biologically active fraction of circulating hormone. These concentrations are independent of saliva flow rate.

It is also an accurate method of evaluating how HRT, topical hormone creams, sublingual drops, diet; herbal therapy and exercise influence hormone levels.

Cortisol and Adrenal “STRESS”
First, let us briefly look at one of the chief causes of most hormonal problems- ADRENAL STRESS.

Causes of Adrenal Stress are:
o Environment: internal and external
o Dental Foci / Heavy Metals
o Genetic Blueprint
o Emotional / Identity Imprints
o Diet and Nutrition
o Scar Tissue

The prominent field of Psychoneu-roimmunology has researched the effects of emotional stress on the human body to find that stress is an important factor in immune related problems. The marker used to measure stress is the adrenal steroid hormone cortisol. Hormones are a powerful influence over all physical, intellectual and emotional behavior. Prolonged exposure to stress may be devastating to the body and mind. My research indicates through a thousand salivary tests before and after that low cortisol stress is more common than high cortisol stress. Although if the cortisol is elevated it will then plunge to a low level. However, test results indicate that when two or more cortisol levels are elevated, there is a strong probability that the patient has diabetes or a genetic predisposition for it. If one cortisol level is elevated, it may indicate hypoglycemia. This can be treated most effectively with my homeopathic formulas. To the contrary, if HRT is used in this situation, it will act just like any hormone and create further stress. Think of the fact that when you administer insulin to a diabetic, the body then becomes dependent and lazy, eventually ceasing all production of its own insulin.

The Ancient Wisdom of Chinese Medicine
Saliva testing and hormone ratio interpretation according to biological age, not chronological age is crucial for creating the patients program.

The target collection times need to be performed according to the “Chinese Medicine Body Clock” (see figure below).

A comprehensive NuFem 24-hour circadian endocrine profile will reveal hormone levels and the health of corresponding organs and glands. In addition, this interpretation includes a suggested dietary regime to cleanse and rejuvenate endocrine function.

NuFem Hormone Rejuvenation System offers a gentler approach to mid-life hormone balance than HRT–and works for men, too.
There is continual debate about both conventional and natural hormone replacement therapies (HRT). Conventional HRT uses synthetic hormones taken orally and, among a number of adverse side effects, is known to cause ovarian and other cancers in a small percentage of women. Natural HRT usually relies on wild yam-derived progesterone and cofactors applied in a skin cream, but the quality control of over-the-counter products and their effectiveness have been called into question. There is a third option, however–do not attempt to replace the hormones at all. Instead, restore balance by rejuvenating the body’s innate ability to produce the proper hormone levels.
This third approach is the one taken by Theresa Dale, Ph.D., in developing her NuFem Hormone Rejuvenation System. These are homeopathic remedies incorporating time-tested principles of naturopathic and traditional Chinese medicine.
Although natural hormone replacement is many times safer and can be more effective than synthetic HRT, “natural” bio-identical hormone preparations are still synthesized from natural substances. The body knows the difference between a wild yam and something synthesized from a wild yam. Further, the taking of any externally-originated (exogenous) hormone, natural or synthetic, can signal the body to stop, or at least to slow down, production of the endogenous (the body’s own) version of that hormone. The homeopathic approach employs remedies made up of substances intended to support the body’s self-healing mechanisms. Successively diluted from 1/10th to only billionths of their original strength, the minute amounts of these healing substances cannot act to replace the body’s hormones, but instead they serve as catalysts: agents that in effect kick-start the body’s own appropriate production of hormones.
A three-part system
The NuFem Hormone Rejuvenation System has three aspects. It incorporates a proprietary hormone saliva test and interpretation; remedies and support for individual organs as indicated by the test; and one of three NuF em HRS formulas, corresponding to the degree of joverall hormonal imbalance.
One problem with using over-the-counter creams, or any kind of prescribed HRT, is that women tend to do so without first getting hormonal tests to establish a baseline profile of their hormonal status. Dr. Dale recommends salivary hormone testing as a baseline for every woman who is considering beginning treatment for menopausal symptoms.
Several reputable laboratories around the country offer a saliva test kit by mail. To be complete, the kits should test both the important sex and stress hormones, including progesterone, estradiol (estrogen), testosterone, cortisol and DHEA. Saliva collection can be performed at home and the sample sent by mail to a laboratory. This is a simple, non-invasive process. The test should be repeated periodically to re-evaluate hormone levels and adjust any supplements being taken.
Saliva is considered to be a better indicator than blood serum of biologically active hormone levels and is therefore a more accurate reflection of the body’s functional hormonal status. Research has proven the effectiveness of using saliva instead of serum or urine as a diagnostic medium to measure bioavailable (biologically active) hormone fractions. Saliva testing measures the levels of “free” (unbound) sex and stress hormones available to body tissues, and hormone concentrations are independent of saliva flow rate.
Dr. Dale has developed her own NuFem HRS Saliva Test to determine whether hormone levels are within expected normal ranges for one’s gender and age. She says that the test is “an accurate method of evaluating how hormone replacement therapies, topical hormone creams and other therapies affect hormone levels, and it allows one to periodically monitor how the NuFem formulas, along with proper diet and exercise, are positively influencing hormone balance.”
The NuFem Saliva Test specifies saliva collection times to be performed according to the “Body Clock” of traditional Chinese medicine (see illustration). In this system, the functional states of body organs and glands are correlated with the times of day, with seasons, emotions, substances and energies all classified as belonging to one of five “Elements.” These Elements (Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood) are classifications used to describe basic principles of how members within each category behave, influence and interact with each other. “The Five Element Theory is a key to identifying the core energy pattern that anchors a disease and causes blocked meridians and thus blocked hormones and neurotransmitters,” says Dr. Dale. “The Body Clock correlates the Elements with organ and endocrine functions to specific peak times of the day and evening.” Dr. Dale uses these peak times in the 24-hour functional cycle in her test interpretations. Correlating the results with Chinese medicine, she will recommend Neuro-Emotional Remedies to balance the organs and glands that correspond with abnormal hormone levels, and also make dietary recommendations.
“This comprehensive circadian endocrine profile will give results on hormone levels in addition to profiling the health of corresponding organs and glands.” For example, if the test reveals that a person’s cortisol level is high at 2 AM, this is an indication of a liver imbalance. The health of the liver is key: our body’s largest internal organ plays a central role in nutrient transportation and metabolic processes. If it is congested, the body will not be able to detoxify properly and circulation will also be impaired, severely inhibiting the body’s ability to heal other organs.
The Body Clock

The Body Clock is a representation of an aspect of the Five Element Theory of traditional Chinese medicine. Classic medical texts discussing the Five Element Theory date back to at least 200 BCE. The Chinese character we translate as “Elements” is also called “phases” or “movements.” Based on the idea that all things in the universe are interrelated, the Five Element Theory shows the ways in which all things tend to influence and give birth to each other.

In the Body Clock, twelve organs of the body, controlled by the twelve acupuncture meridians, are associated with different times of the day. The particular times of day at which saliva testing shows abnormal hormone levels indicates which organs are being adversely affected by the imbalance. (The Body Clock also makes it obvious how interrupted sleep patterns can be caused by hormone imbalances.)

Depending on the degree to which a patient’s hormones are imbalanced, Dr. Dale will recommend one of three NuFem formulas to address the overall needs of the endocrine system. However, if, for example, cortisol levels are low at 8 AM, Dr. Dale will also include a homeopathic Neuro-Emotional Remedy specifically for the stomach; or if levels are also low at 4 PM, she will add a Remedy for the bladder. Dr. Dale’s experience is that including the whole body in the treatment plan results in restoring hormone health more quickly and more permanently.

Importantly, the saliva test measures levels of stress (adrenal steroid) hormones as well as sex hormones. Adrenal stress is a major cause of hormonal problems. As one ages, if the body becomes more stressed and limited in function, the first system to be sacrificed is the reproductive system. Symptoms such as decreased energy or libido often begin around the age of forty, and can progress to serious endocrine dysfunctions within just a few years.
Men also experience significant health changes when sex and adrenal hormones decrease with age. Almost all men over age fifty suffer from some degree of prostatitis. This is an obvious symptom of male menopause, but, as with women, “non-obvious” symptoms can also be occurring and leading to more serious dysfunctions. Dr. Dale says, “Human hormones are affected by stress. Conversely, hormones have a powerful influence over physical, intellectual and emotional behavior. Prolonged exposure to stress may be devastating to the body and mind. Repressed emotions and behavioral patterns have a profound effect on hormonal production.”
Adrenal adaptation, maladaptation and exhaustion
Finally, there are the three NuFem HRS formulas themselves. “Each formula contains a combination of remedies, and each remedy contains an imprint–an energetic signature–of the molecular structure of the entire endocrine system, including hypothalamus, pituitary, ovaries, uterus, cortisol, adrenal–all necessary hormones and more,” Dr. Dale explains. “The hypothalamus is the main nerve-hormone link. Within seconds of receiving a remedy, it translates a picture of how the specific healthy organ or gland normally functions directly to the organ that you wish to stimulate. These imprints, or pictures, act as subtle amplifiers of the natural function of an organ by giving off an electromagnetic signal that attaches itself to a si milar signal and imprint.”
NuFem formula #1 is indicated if NuFem HRS Saliva Test results indicate adrenal adaptation, a phase in which the endocrine system is producing increased amounts of hormones to compensate for the body’s abnormal demands. Typical symptoms include digestive problems, inability to calm down, increased serum cholesterol, severe weight gain or loss, prostatitis, menstrual problems, sleep disturbances, diarrhea and a decrease in sex drive. NuFem Formula #1 is used to stimulate DHEA, cortisol and progesterone production in pre- and post-menopausal women and men.
NuFem formula #2 is called for if saliva test results show adrenal maladaptation. At this stage the overworked endocrine system is unable to supply the body’s demands and hormone production significantly decreases. Typical symptoms might include chronic fatigue syndrome, loss of libido, impotence, bloating and fluid retention, constipation, male or female hair loss, bone loss, increased urination and low back or sciatica pain. NuFem Formula #2 is used to stimulate cortisol, DHEA, estradiol, estrone, estriol and cortisol production as well as stimulating progesterone production in postmenopausal women.
NuFem formula #3 is called for when saliva test results show adrenal exhaustion. This is the state in which the endocrine system has broken down and is unable to recuperate on its own. Typical symptoms might include fibromyalgia, chronic nonspecific pain, heart arrhythmia, severe constipation, panic attacks or anxiety, bile reflux and digestive problems, depression and mental frustration, memory loss and inability to think, sensitivity to smells, light or sound, difficulty breathing, inflammation and joint pain. Men might experience various testicular conditions and pain in the spermatic cord. Formula #3 is used to stimulate DHEA, cortisol and testosterone production in women and men.
NuFem formulas do not include fillers, colorings, artificial preservatives and thickening gums which may have a neutralizing effect or keep homeopathic remedies from penetrating deeply. Dr. Dale employs only transdermal gels containing remedies suspended in a natural, 100% pure liposome base that allows the NuFem formulas to be deeply absorbed–an effective way for the body to utilize hormonal therapies. The gels can be applied to different areas of the skin, such as the inside of the elbow.

Dr. Theresa Dale
NuFem homeopathic remedies can improve progesterone uptake and metabolism, yet will not interfere with the normal shift from progesterone to estrogen dominance that occurs during the monthly cycle. These formulas do not have any known side effects. The homeopathic substances in the formulas are made from botanicals and minerals, in addition to healthy tissue or secretions of the body such as hormones.
Case histories
Initial testing of the NuFem Formulas began two years ago with 25 patients. According to Dr. Dale, patients’ symptoms abated completed or were reduced significantly within 10 days.
One of her recent patients was a 59-year-old female who had undergone a hysterectomy. She was 20 pounds overweight, with a swollen abdomen, and had mood swings and severe gastrointestinal problems. She had been attempting to follow a protein-heavy “Blood Type O” diet, but she had also included alcohol, sugar, dairy and occasional fast foods. She had been taking conventional HRT (Estrotest) for one year. The drug itself had created a high normal estradiol and low testosterone and exhausted her adrenal glands. According to the NuFem HRS Saliva Test interpretation, her cortisol levels were very low, causing adrenal exhaustion and low melatonin levels. The results were:
Cortisol levels
Test Results
Normal Range
DHEA 0.9 (22.0-10.0)
Testosterone 11.0 (20.0-50.0)
According to the NuFem saliva testing times the following organs were affected by the low cortisol levels and needed support through homeopathic Neuro-Emotional Remedies taken five drops twice daily for one month: Stomach, heart, bladder, circulation-sex meridian (endocrine) and lungs. She was started her on the NuFem Formulas #2 and #3, which were topically applied twice daily.
Dr. Dale reports that the patient called on the first day and said she felt better emotionally. Each day thereafter she reported an abatement in symptoms. Within 10 days of starting the NuFem gels and the Neuro-Emotional Remedies she reported all of her severe symptoms had abated. She had no more heart palpitations, felt more balanced, had much less allergic response to foods and allergens, experienced elimination of gastrointestinal problems and felt, as she put it, “a clearer brighter me.” After two months on the program she was still symptom-free. Follow-up saliva tests will confirm improvements.
Another patient was a 44-year-old female, 10 pounds overweight, with hot flashes, low energy, mood swings and painful periods. She was using a transdermal U.S.P. progesterone natural cream, which she said was not working. She had her saliva test performed at a lab without the entire range of cortisol levels. Her Testosterone was 19.7 (normal range is 20.0-50.0) and DHEA was 0.4 (normal range is 2.0-10.0).
She started on NuFem #1 (homeopathic adrenal support) and #3 (homeopathic testosterone support). After one month she reported that her symptoms had completely abated. She took another saliva test and it confirmed her subjective improvement: her testosterone had increased to 26.0, and DHEA jumped four-fold to 1.9.
Women have been more or less left to view menopause as if it were a debilitating condition rather than a life-cycle transition. From this perspective, menopausal symptoms become pathologies rather than signals of imbalances that can be corrected. As a result, women begin to feel that their health and hormone production abilities are permanently lost. Many women diagnosed with menopause are really in adrenal insufficiency or exhaustion, and once their cortisol levels are balanced, the menstrual cycle begins. Women need to have faith in their bodies’ own healing abilities. Ideally, balance and health can be achieved with gentle support.

Urgent Updated Hormone Replacement Information!

What You Need to Know!
Due to the recent media promotion of bio-identical hormones from celebrities, it is of utmost importance that you educate yourself about this pressing issue. An article recently published in the New York Times, March 30, 2004 under the title, “Possible Peril Found in Menopause Cream” (By Anahad O’Connor) continues to provide compelling research about hormone replacement.Anahad O’Connor says, “A popular cream that eases the symptoms of menopause exposes women to higher levels of the hormone progesterone than has been com-monly thought, researchers have found.”“Pro-Gest, one of more than two dozen creams containing natural progesterone is a widely used alternative to synthetic hormone therapies that have been linked to a higher risk of breast cancer and heart disease. Millions of tubes of progesterone cream are sold annually.”

“Because they can be purchased over the counter, the creams are generally considered less potent, and therefore less harmful, than federally regulated progesterone pills.”

“But research reported Thursday has raised questions about the creams’ safety. A group of women that used Pro-Gest to relieve hot flashes and night sweats and a group that took the hormone pill Prometrium later had the same levels of progesterone in their bloodstreams, said Dr. Anne Hermann, who conducted the study at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, N.Y.”

“Dr. Hermann presented the results at a conference of the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics in Florida.” “Millions of women are using these creams, thinking that because they’re natural and sold over the counter they are safe,” she said. “The reality is that they are putting themselves at risk.”

The findings come at a time when hormone use is sharply declining. In 2002, the Women’s Health Initiative study found a heightened risk of breast cancer and heart disease among women who used a common hormone therapy. That study looked at synthetic progesterone, or progestin, taken in combination with estrogen to relieve hot flashes and other symptoms of menopause.

Natural progesterone is considered to carry some of the same health risks as its synthetic version, “until research shows otherwise,” said Susan Cruzan, a spokeswoman for the Food and Drug Administration.

“We’re asking manufacturers to do further studies,” Ms. Cruzan said. “Until we have that information, women who use any of these products should work with their doctors to use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration of time.” Dr. Moskowitz said that the Women’s Health Initiative “did not look at natural progesterone, and it didn’t even look at progestin by itself.” As health care providers, we need to be responsible, do our own studies with patients and clearly look at this issue. Women are aging due to using hormone replacement in various forms including supposedly bio-identical forms. My research includes; over 2000 salivary tests, before and after with hundreds of doctors patients reveal an overwhelming number of patients with symptoms from high toxic levels of the hormone that they are using in a supposedly “natural” and bioidentical hormones. The hormones that should be tested with salivary testing are 6 cortisols, testosterone, DHEA, progesterone, Estradiol, Melatonin and Thyroid Stimulating Hormone. Except nothing less!

Thyroid Issues are Growing!
As far as balancing the thyroid, I use meridian remedies, treat both the adrenals and the thyroid simultaneously and help the patient release the emotions confusion and paranoia that are stuck in the thyroid gland and tissue. If a patient has been using synthroid, armor thyroid or any preparation with thyroxin (excluding homeopathy) the thyroid will shut down. I ask you, is this really helping the patient? The patient desires healing and I have found that the thyroid can be healed using specific meridian homeopathic remedies for hyper and hypo thyoid, and sea vegetables for hypothyroid conditions. Eating a raw food diet, herbs and glandulars are also good to support the thyroid but I have noted that it does not cure the problem. Homeopathy and emotional healing can actually cure the problem permanently. I suggest finding if the thyroid problem is secondary to a pituitary/hypothalamus problems and then rule out inherited or acquired toxins.
Bio-identical hormones? Find out the facts!
FACT ONEJust like Premarin and Provera, Bio-identical hormones, phytoestrogen creams, natural progesterone creams and other hormones like DHEA, Melatonin and HGH have severe toxic side effects. They are all hormone replacement therapy. The longer you use them the more toxicity develops, and the more abnormal adrenal cortisol levels are evident. Every testing laboratory has observed the toxic side effects of these hormones. It’s documented!FACT TWOBio-identical hormones create a dependency and then your body slows down production of your own natural hormones. Guess what effect this has on your body? Well, if your hormones are not being secreted in proper amounts because you are dependent on a hormone, then the only thing your body can do is get lazy and age. The hope of anti-aging is just that “a hope”. True anti-aging comes from the mind, a great nutritional program according to testing, a regular cardiovascular routine and homeopathic hormone rejuvenation to support the endocrine system and neurotransmitter production.

Bio-identical hormones are synthesized from wild yam and soy. For example, a carrot, which is synthesized, is no longer a carrot – it is a synthetic substance.

When a compounding lab makes a bio-identical hormone specifically for your patient, the patient uses it with great hopes. It is a fact that you may need to have the formula adjusted a few to many times before finding one formula that stabilizes hormones and then the results are only temporary. As your body deals with stressful situations, your hormone needs change. Sometimes, dras-tically! Then you need a different formula because your body is confused and cannot make the adjustment itself. The patient is bombarded with supposedly bio-identical or natural hormones, becoming toxic and lazy. Then the adrenal cortisol levels become abnormal causing more symptoms. You get the picture!

Possible symptoms of using bio-identical hormones and other hormones listed in Fact One are:

  • Weight gain around the buttocks, thighs, middle waist and abdomen.
  • Depression
  • Facial hair growth
  • Hair loss
  • Fatigue
  • Secretions from the breast

“The ONLY hormones that are bio-identical or natural are the ones your body makes.”

Bio-Identical Hormones vs. Homeopathy…
The FDA approves homeopathy, and in 200 years of effective use, no side effects or toxicity exists.Homeopathic Hormone Rejuvenation has a 95% success rate for women with complete hysterectomies, PMS, post-partum depression, hot flashes, mood swings, and fatigue.
More Facts…
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is based on the incorrect assumption that the body becomes incapable of producing hormones simply because we reach a certain age. In reality, hormone problems are a function of how healthy you are, not how old you are. Another incorrect assumption is that a woman’s body cannot make hormones if she has had a hysterectomy. My research reveals that hormones can be rejuvenated to healthy levels even in this situation because the communication can be reestablished between the hypothalamus, pituitary, thyroid, pancreas and adrenal glands. My research confirms that the adrenals gland can and will produce correct and healthy amounts of necessary hormones for women according to their genetics, lifestyle, and biological age. Any negative effect of genetics on the body can be diminished and turned into a positive if the inherited and acquired miasms are located. There is an endocrine connection or response to any illness. Finding this connection may prove to be elusive if you are relying on blood testing — as is not as sensitive as saliva for endocrine evaluation.Saliva testing is touted to be more sensitive and more accurate, however, this is only true if the correct collection times are used according to the Chinese Medicine Five Element Theory Body Clock. Beside using this “5 Element” type of saliva test, which tests the liver, lung, sex circulation, stomach, bladder and heart meridian, I would also include electro-dermal screening or Neuro-Physical Reprogramming (NPR) to further assess the patient ruling out any existing inherited or acquired miasms (toxins) which may be “causing” endocrine and neurotransmitter problems.A child with Downs Syndrome, a teenager with raging hormones, a young girl with PMS issues; are all experiencing endocrine issues. We also have to consider the existing endocrine correlation connected to every other human being with health issues.

If we as health providers stay focused on the cause of the patients’ problem instead of trying to cover-up the symptoms, not only will the patient experience better health and vitality much quicker but they would also become more empowered.

The longer a health issue is experience, the more a patient is likely to “give up hope” creating a sense of “hopelessness” which does not empower the immune system or their healing.

Empowering the patient can be facilitated through positive communication, and quick results. I understand that some conditions take longer than others, bit within at least 30 days there should be some measure of change; a movement in the right direction. My patients tell me… “I feel so much better now, but I was ready to bail on the program If I didn’t see some shift in my health within one or two weeks.”

Using any hormones on or in your body will undoubtedly create symptoms; toxify the body increasing the biological age. Remember, a lazy endocrine system is an aging endocrine system.

The Endocrine Protocol Includes…

Exposure to Cell Phone Radiation and Cell Towers

The Liver, Kidneys, and Gallbladder

How Your Gallbladder Works

The gallbladder is a hollow organ supplying bile to the digestive tract that is mainly used to emulsify fats and oils. According to some natural health experts, the gallbladder can be damaged by

  • Excessive amounts of fat and oil;
  • Large amounts of spice;
  • Very cold liquids;
  • Cold dairy products
  • Drafts
  • Stress and according to Chinese Medicine Five Element Theory: Resentment.

What are gallstones?

Gallstones form when liquid stored in the gallbladder hardens into pieces of stone-like material. The liquid, called bile is used to help the body digest fats. Bile is made in the liver, and then stored in the gallbladder until the body needs to digest fat. At that time, the gallbladder contracts and pushes the bile into a tube—called the common bile duct—that carries it to the small intestine, where it helps with digestion.

Bile contains water, cholesterol, fats, bile salts, proteins, and bilirubin. Bile salts break up fat, and bilirubin gives bile and stool a yellowish color. If the liquid bile contains too much cholesterol, bile salts, or bilirubin, under certain conditions it can harden into stones.

The two types of gallstones are cholesterol stones and pigment stones. Cholesterol stones are usually yellow-green and are made primarily of hardened cholesterol. They account for about 80 percent of gallstones. Pigment stones are small, dark stones made of bilirubin. Gallstones can be as small as a grain of sand or as large as a golf ball. The gallbladder can develop just one large stone, hundreds of tiny stones, or almost any combination.
liver and gallbladder

The gallbladder and the ducts that carry bile and other digestive enzymes from the liver, gallbladder, and pancreas to the small intestine are called the biliary system.

Gallstones can block the normal flow of bile if they lodge in any of the ducts that carry bile from the liver to the small intestine. That includes the hepatic ducts, which carry bile out of the liver; the cystic duct, which takes bile to and from the gallbladder; and the common bile duct, which takes bile from the cystic and hepatic ducts to the small intestine. Bile trapped in these ducts can cause inflammation in the gallbladder, the ducts, or, rarely, the liver. Other ducts open into the common bile duct, including the pancreatic duct, which carries digestive enzymes out of the pancreas. If a gallstone blocks the opening to that duct, digestive enzymes can become trapped in the pancreas and cause an extremely painful inflammation called gallstone pancreatitis.

If any of these ducts remain blocked for a significant period of time, severe—possibly fatal—damage or infections affecting the gallbladder, liver, or pancreas can occur. Warning signs of a serious problem are fever, jaundice, and persistent pain.

Most people are likely to have hundreds of gallstones. Some may be soft and don’t show up on an x-ray unless they calcify. However, they cause problems such as gallbladder attack by blocking the bile ducts even when they are not calcified.

What causes gallstones?

Cholesterol Stones

Scientists believe cholesterol stones form when bile contains too much cholesterol, too much bilirubin, or not enough bile salts, or when the gallbladder does not empty as it should for some other reason.

Pigment Stones

The cause of pigment stones is uncertain. They tend to develop in people who have cirrhosis, biliary tract infections, and hereditary blood disorders, such as sickle cell anemia, in which too much bilirubin is formed.

Other Factors

Other factors that contribute to gallstones have been identified, especially for cholesterol stones.

• Obesity. Obesity is a major risk factor for gallstones, especially in women. A large clinical study showed that being even moderately overweight increases the risk for developing gallstones. The most likely reason is that obesity tends to reduce the amount of bile salts in bile, resulting in more cholesterol. Obesity also decreases gallbladder emptying.

• Estrogen. Excess estrogen from pregnancy, hormone replacement therapy, or birth control pills appears to increase cholesterol levels in bile and decrease gallbladder movement, both of which can lead to gallstones.

• Ethnicity. Native Americans have a genetic predisposition to secrete high levels of cholesterol in bile. In fact, they have the highest rate of gallstones in the United States. A majority of Native American men have gallstones by age 60. Among the Pima Indians of Arizona, 70 percent of women have gallstones by age 30. Mexican American men and women of all ages also have high rates of gallstones.

• Gender. Women between 20 and 60 years of age are twice as likely to develop gallstones as men.

• Age. People over age 60 are more likely to develop gallstones than younger people.

• Cholesterol-lowering drugs. Drugs that lower cholesterol levels in blood actually increase the amount of cholesterol secreted in bile. This in turn can increase the risk of gallstones.

• Diabetes. People with diabetes generally have high levels of fatty acids called triglycerides. These fatty acids increase the risk of gallstones.

• Rapid weight loss. As the body metabolizes fat during rapid weight loss, it causes the liver to secrete extra cholesterol into bile, which can cause gallstones.

• Fasting. Fasting decreases gallbladder movement, causing the bile to become over concentrated with cholesterol, which can lead to gallstones.

Who is at risk for gallstones?

  • women
  • people over age 60
  • Native Americans
  • Mexican Americans
  • overweight men and women
  • people who fast or lose a lot of weight quickly
  • pregnant women, women on hormone replacement therapy, and women who use birth control pills

What are the symptoms?

Symptoms of gallstones are often called a gallstone “attack” because they occur suddenly. A typical attack can cause

  • steady pain in the upper abdomen that increases rapidly and lasts from 30 minutes to several hours
  • pain in the back between the shoulder blades
  • pain under the right shoulder
  • nausea or vomiting

Gallstone attacks often follow fatty meals, and they may occur during the night. Other gallstone symptoms include

  • abdominal bloating
  • recurring intolerance of fatty foods
  • colic
  • belching
  • gas
  • indigestion

People who also have the above and any of following symptoms should see a doctor right away:

  • chills
  • low-grade fever
  • yellowish color of the skin or whites of the eyes
  • clay-colored stools

Many people with gallstones have no symptoms. They do not interfere with gallbladder, liver, or pancreas function, and do not need treatment.

When the liver is stagnant, sediment often settles out of the bile and forms accumulations that resemble stones, sand or mud in the gallbladder.

Symptoms of sediment in the gallbladder:

  • Indigestion
  • Flatulence
  • Periodic pain below the right side of the rib cage
  • Tension in the back of the shoulder near the neck
  • Bitter taste in the mouth
  • Chest pain.

So many people have unnecessary surgery to have their gallbladder removed. In my experience, more than half the time the gallbladder is taken out, the patient’s pain that prompted the surgery still remains.

This is because the surgeon never fixed the problem. They only treated the symptom. This makes about as much sense as putting a piece of tape over the idiot light that would come on in your dashboard if your engine oil pressure is low. This would clearly solve the problem, the light would not bother you anymore, but you would be looking at expensive engine repairs if you failed to treat the cause of the light being on.

If you have abdominal pain that is immediately below your last rib on your right side and lined up with your right nipple, especially if your press down in that spot, there is a good chance that you have a gallbladder problem.

The first step is to immediately follow the eating plan below. Regular exercise has been consistently associated with a decrease in gallbladder problems.

If the pain persists the article above provides a far simpler less expensive option prior to surgery.

I believe it is nearly criminal what traditional medicine is doing to the public when it comes to managing this problem. It is RARELY ever necessary to remove someone’s gallbladder. If one ignores warning symptoms and does not address the reasons why their gallbladder is not functioning properly, than the disease can progress to the point where the pancreas is inflamed or the gallbladder is seriously infected and may have to be removed to save a person’s life.

However, it is important to have a proper perspective here. Nearly ONE MILLION gallbladders are removed every year in this country and it is my estimate that only several thousand need to come out.

So, not only are surgeons removing these organs unnecessarily, but also in their nutritional ignorance they are telling patients that their gallbladders do not serve any purpose and they can live perfectly well without them. This is NOT true.

The gallbladder serves an important digestive function. It is required to emulsify fats. What is emulsification? One can easily understand this concept when washing greasy dishes. It is nearly impossible to properly clean greasy dishes without soap as the soap emulsifies the fat so it can be removed.

Similarly, the gallbladder stores bile and bile acids, which emulsify the fat one eats so it can be properly transported through the intestine into the blood stream.

Anyone who has had their gallbladder removed will need to take some form of bile salts with every meal for the rest of their life, if they wish to prevent a good percentage of the good fats they eat from being flushed down the toilet.

If one does not have enough fats in the diet, their entire physiology will be disrupted, especially the ability to make hormones and prostaglandins.

Regular Exercise May Prevent Gallstone Surgery

Gallstones are an important cause of disease and a common reason for surgery. Women, particularly those who have had multiple pregnancies or have certain ethnic backgrounds, such as Native American or U.S. southwestern Hispanic, are at particular risk.

Obesity is an important risk factor for gallstone disease that can be modified, as are frequent changes in weight. Rapid weight loss leads to the rapid growth of gallstones and a high risk of symptomatic disease. A gallstone can develop when bile, cholesterol, calcium salts and other substances come together to form a mass in the gallbladder, the organ that stores bile. Gallstones often exist without causing symptoms, but surgery is sometimes necessary when the stones cause severe pain.

Being physically active may help a woman avoid gallstone surgery. Women who exercised the most were 31% less likely to have gallstone surgery than the least active women. Even a moderate amount of exercise was linked to a significant decline in the risk of gallbladder surgery. An average of 2 to 3 hours of recreational exercise per week appeared to reduce the risk by approximately 20%. Compared to the least sedentary women, who spent less than 6 hours per week sitting at work or driving, women who spent 41 to 60 hours a week sitting were 42% more likely to undergo gallbladder surgery.

There are a number of potential pathways that may explain the beneficial effects of exercise besides weight control. Physical activity has been shown to make the gut move more rapidly, which may prevent gallstones from forming. In addition, it may reduce levels of fatty substances called triglycerides, which play a role in the development of gallstones.

The New England Journal of Medicine September 9,1999;341:777-784, 836-837.

If one does have gallbladder disease, whole beets are an excellent way to thin the bile and limit the risk of gallstones. Whole beets will thin bile the way paint thinner thins paint. It is quite consistent.

You can also use a product that is 100% pure organic whole beet concentrate, which works quite nicely.

It is criminal! Nearly one million people each year have their gallbladders sacrificed on the altar of the surgical table. Nearly every one of these patients did not need their gallbladders removed. They just needed to thin out their bile and clean up their diet and the body would have self-regulated and eliminated the problem. However, if you, or anyone you know has their gallbladder removed, bile acid replacement is required for the rest of your life, unless you obtain a gallbladder transplant. Trying to digest fat without bile is like trying to wash greasy dishes without soap, it doesn’t work very well. One needs bile to emulsify fats so they can be absorbed and used by the body for their many important functions

The Lancet recently reported the use of one quart of pure apple juice for one week. After one full week of the apple juice one cup of olive oil was used just before going to bed. The person was instructed to lay on their left side during the night. A high dose of magnesium can be used to facilitate the removal of the stones.

Epsom Salts:

Magnesium Sulfate used for liver cleanse

Magnesium sulfate reduces striated muscle contractions and blocks peripheral neuromuscular transmission by reducing acetylcholine release at the myoneural junction. In emergency care, magnesium sulfate is used to manage seizures associated with toxemia of pregnancy. Other uses include uterine relaxation (to inhibit contractions of premature labor), as a bronchodilator after beta-agonist and anticholinergic agents have been used, replacement therapy for magnesium deficiency, as a cathartic to reduce the absorption of poisons from the Gl tract, and in the initial therapy for convulsions. Magnesium sulfate is gaining popularity as an initial treatment in the management of various dysrhythmias, particularly torsades de pointes, and dysrhythmias secondary to a tricyclic antidepressant overdose or digitalis toxicity. The drug is also considered as a class Ila agent (probably helpful) for refractory ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia after administration of lidocaine or bretylium doses.

Magnesium sulfate is effective for severe acute asthma treated in the emergency department

Ortho-Phos (included in Deep Cleanse Kit)

Phosphorus is an important mineral that enables the body to metabolize protein, calcium, and glucose. Our cells require phosphorus to maintain normal function and to store and use energy. Phosphorus is the second most plentiful mineral found in the body next to calcium. Just like calcium, most phosphorus is found in the bones and teeth with the remainder in body tissues and fluids. Phosphorus is plentiful in both plant and animal sources. Research suggests that if humans consume adequate amounts of calcium in their diet, they will automatically meet their daily phosphorus requirement. But poor eating habits and food processing techniques can greatly compromise the amount of nutritional value we ingest on a daily basis. For example, while cereal grains contain significant amounts of phosphorus, whole grain cereals contain more phosphorus than those made from milled grain, but the whole grain products may be higher in “phytin phosphorus, “which is not as easily used by the body.

• Keeps bones and teeth healthy

Phosphorus joins calcium to create an almost insoluble compound that gives bones and teeth strength and rigidity.*

• Supports multiple metabolic processes

The coming together and breaking apart of multiple phosphorus-containing compounds is responsible for many cellular metabolic processes and nutrient utilization. Phosphorus is part of multiple enzyme systems responsible for tissue respiration. Phosphorus compounds are formed as the body uses carbohydrates. Important fatty acids attach to phosphorus during one step of their utilization process. When muscles contract, phosphorus-containing nitrogen compounds come together and break apart. Our bodies require a proper balance of magnesium, calcium, and phosphorus to support good health.

• Maintains cellular energy

Cells require a high-energy compound called adenosine triphosphate (ATP) for most of their biological activities. The body cannot produce ATP without the presence of phosphorus. Whenever cells need energy to undergo any cellular activity or process, ATP reacts with water to begin the cycle. The innumerable cells in the body require a slow, consistent source of energy that can be controlled and regulated because the chemical reactions taking place inside cell walls can only use small amounts of energy as needed. ATP provides just the right amount of energy for the specific times cells require additional energy to perform a particular function. *

The orthophosphoric acids help remove calcium and lipids (fats) from the arteries and normalizes cholesterol metabolism. The phosphoric acid working with the malic acid found in apple juice has some effect on dissolving and softening gallstones.

The magnesium in the Epsom Salts relaxes the sphincter of the gallbladder and bile ducts, allowing for the easy passage of the softened, shrunken stones. Finally, the cream and oil cause a strong contraction of the gallbladder and liver, forcing out stored wastes, bile, and stones which easily pass into the small intestine. These wastes and stones are then excreted.

Ortho-phosphoric acid is helpful for the following symptoms:

Stiffness of the muscles and joints (especially inthe morning).
Myositis (postural cramps)
Lowered metabolism (subject has problems getting going in the morning, bradycardia, sensitivity to cold).
Atherosclerosis and hypertension.
Night symptoms (insomnia, cough, agitation, etc.)
Excessive secretions (saliva, eyes, nose, etc.)
Circulation problems.
Cranial symptoms (headaches, internal pressure, throbbing pain, etc.)
Arthritis and bursitis (temporary help).

Eating Plan for a healthy body

Avoid: preservatives, coloring, artificial flavoring, MSG, dairy, soy, high protein, meats with antibiotics and hormones, tuna, swordfish, shrimp, GMO foods and farmed fish alcohol, junk food including soda’s, sugar, caffeine, wheat, and rye.

Organic fresh vegetables, lots of pure water, organic protein (small amounts), wild salmon, stevia, xylitol, raw agave syrup, legumes, root vegetables, seeds.

Meet Your Liver: An Organ that is multi-tasking to keep you alive and well.

Today’s high-speed lifestyle is very taxing on the liver. Your liver’s job is to analyze and “attempt” to excrete, or turn to fuel, all substances you come in contact with. It is supposed to routinely perform 1000’s of “life vital functions” around the clock.

But everyday, we ingest countless sticky, foreign, practically useless chemicals, making this job nearly impossible. As a result, the load on the liver keeps increasing.

Our overworked friend, houses the gallbladder, and weighs about a pound. It regulates blood sugar, cleanses the blood, stores iron, metabolizes fat, carbohydrates and protein, synthesizes vitamin A, and is the lynch pin of your body’s immune system.

For many, their liver was overwhelmed by age 10. To fully comprehend the tasks your liver is dealing with right now, imagine you are a gardener, a chemist, a sanitation worker, a housekeeper, a soldier on duty, a warehouse / forklift operator and a grocery store clerk, all at the same time. Now imagine you are 5 months behind in your work.

The #1 way the liver communicates with us is by altering our emotions. Suddenly, things that were right are wrong. Tiny problems are huge. Patience is out the window, and you want to explode, or already have.

Somehow, at a time like this, you are supposed to understand that, that burning feeling, is just your liver saying, “I do not like French Fries!”

Other liver symptoms not to be ignored include; skin or eye irritation, headaches, bad moods or mood swings, low energy, fatigue, foggy thinking, a sore or stiff right shoulder, fuzzy vision, congestion of the nose, sinuses or chest, slow reaction time, mental or emotional stress, insomnia, restless sleep and hot flashes. These symptoms ARE your liver’s cries for help.

7+ Serious problem, needs to be resolved.

The mechanisms of emotions and the role your liver plays in intensifying them.

Emotions are not random. When you watch as someone explodes with remarkable intensity, over a slight thing, there is a physical factor involved making it worse, your liver.

As you will read in my first book Transform Your Emotional DNA; The Chinese noted 4000 years ago, that emotions go as your liver goes. When the liver is hot, so are your emotions. When the liver is unstressed and cool, you are calm and relaxed. Altered or hot emotions, is the liver’s attempt to alert you that it needs help.

Think of your liver as an oven. If it is cool, your emotions are even and regular. The hotter the liver gets, the more intense your emotions become.

Dyes, preservatives, chemical additives, resins etc., are all explosive fuel for your liver. Enough contact with them will cause your liver to heat. That kind of fuel can keep your liver red hot for hours or days.

Also, there is no Milk Thistle in LP, as Milk Thistle, being a “Liver protector” caused the formula not to work.

Taking Liver Pro By Symptom: You can Take 5 LP right when you have a liver symptom. Initially, this could be several times a day. I would suggest you take it with equal amounts of the Kidney Pro. Do not take either one past 7 pm. And skip two days per week.

By practitioner protocol: Follow your practitioner’s instructions.

What Do Your Kidneys Do?

Battered by caffeine, a poor diet & stress, your kidneys fight to filter your blood.

The body is a factory. Your two bean shaped organs (kidneys) track the body’s fluid usage, levels, pressure & location. Fluid is used to transport waste from the body’s organs, to the kidneys for processing or treatment then, excretion as urine.

Your body also has to rid itself of gases, acids, oils, resins and sludge. Some of the compounds processed by the kidneys include, lactic acid, uric acid, various proteins, sugars, salts, excess calcium, potassium and ketones.

When these products / by products cannot be fully flushed from the body, the body is forced to uncomfortably store them. Healthy kidneys will utilize between 64 to 128 ounces of fluid a day cleansing your system.

Due to their importance in keeping us healthy, the Chinese call the kidneys “The Master Organ.” Since all of our organs run on fluid, the kidneys regulate every organ of our body.

How Your Kidneys Work

Your Kidneys: The Master Organ Of Life

The kidneys regulate your entire system including: the bladder, blood pressure, ovaries, estrogen, period cramps, testicles, testosterone, sperm production, uterus, prostate, sex drive, pancreas, spleen, lymphatic system, heart, ligaments, ears, scalp, right / left low back, upper back, left; shoulder, pectoral, trapezes, elbow; both calves, thighs, biceps, triceps, forearms, wrists, knees, ankles, your spine, all fingers and toes.

The only areas not regulated by the kidneys are your right shoulder, right pectoral and right trapezes, all monitored by your liver. Your right elbow represents your stomach.

There is never a kidney problem that does not include a liver problem. The two organs work hand and glove together. Always address them at the same time.

“The state of our internal organs are represented on the face”

– Yellow King of China’s physician, circa 2670 B.C.

Fact: When an area of the face is very pronounced or calling attention to itself, it indicates a weakness or predisposition to weakness of the associated organ.

The half moon of darkness, redness, puffiness or pronounced wrinkling under each eye indicates the state of your kidneys. Your right half moon represents your right kidney and the left is the left kidney.

Redesigning Your Biological Computer

Stress affects your body’s biological com- puter, causing health issues and chemical imbalances. Determining and addressing the causes of stress is the most important factor in creating wellness. There are ten stressors that can cause endocrine break- down: genetics, neurotransmitter dys- function, dental issues, scar tissue, diet, foreign organisms, environmental toxins, medications including HRT, mind/emo- tions, and of course, immune challenges.
The first step in obtaining an accurate di- agnosis of stress is to look at meridian lev- els related to cortisol production. Since de- veloping my Menopause, Nutrition & Lifestyle Monitor, I have studied thou- sands of (before and after) case histories and programs. The five elements of tradi- tional Chinese medicine are tested, along with hormones, and then a custom pro- gram is created. This program includes an endocrine rebuilding diet, a list of impor- tant nutrients such as flax seed, primrose and borage oil, and a formula for the im- mune system such as Source Naturals® Wellness Formula®.
Due to testing inaccuracies, women are often misdiagnosed, placing them in the categories of pre- or post-menopause dys- function, when they are just experiencing abnormal periods of stress. I have ob- served patients’ tests results and symptoms completely turn around in two to three months just by following my seven-step program, which is discussed in my new book, Revitalize Your Hormones: Dr. Dale’s Seven Steps to a Healthier, Happier and Sexier You.

Your Menopause Choices
Due to the media promotion of bio-identi- cal hormones from celebrities, it is of ut- most importance that you educate yourself about this pressing issue.
Fact One: It is clear that natural and bio- identical hormones have toxic side effects. Every testing laboratory has observed the toxic side effects of all varieties of hormone replacement; it’s documented through thousands of before and after tests!
Fact Two: Bio-identical hormones create dependence and your body slows down production of your own natural hormones.
Fact Three: As your body deals with stress- ful situations, your hormone needs change. Balancing changing hormone lev- els with hormones will only produce frus- tration and toxic symptoms.
Fact Four: Possible symptoms of using natural, synthetic or bio-identical hor- mones are weight gain around the but- tocks, thighs, middle waist and abdomen, depression, facial hair growth, hair loss, and fatigue.
Fact Five: The ONLY hormones that are bio-identical or natural are the ones your body makes.
EndoPure Homeopathic Hormone Re- juvenation
EndoPure is an oral homeopathic remedy and can also be used as a douche for vagi- nal dryness. Due to the success of the En- doPure and NeuroEmotional Remedies, it is clear that even women with complete hysterectomies can strengthen their adre- nal glands, re-educating them to make hormones in appropriate amounts. EndoPure is available in four formulas—EndoPure Pro, EndoPure Estro, EndoPure Testos-Female, and EndoPure Testos-Male. Instructions for use are on each box.

Neurotransmitters and Hormones
I look at neurotransmitters as regulators of the biological computer, affecting thoughts, moods, hormones and overall mental, emotional and physical well-being in humans. My challenge was to formulate a new homeopathic remedy, which would download new information that the bio- logical computer uses to repair itself and balance all neurotransmitters. If your neu- rotransmitters are out of balance, it can cause hormonal problems, adrenal stress, insomnia, weight gain and depression.
In handling stress, the brain uses large quantities of certain chemicals called neuro- transmitters. Neurotransmitters induce or inhibit impulses in your brain. At some point, the amount of stress we endure caus- es the brain to use up these chemicals. Many apparently unrelated effects of neuro- transmitters influence symptoms, and opti- mizing neurotransmitters can improve many patient symptoms.
Neurotransmitter-related symptoms in- clude fatigue and chronic muscle/joint pain, adrenal cortisol burnout, memory problems, inappropriate hunger or food cravings, irritability and hostility, inability to focus or concentrate, depression or agi- tation, excessive body fat, obsessive/com- pulsive behaviors, sleep disturbances, physical or emotional stress, diarrhea or constipation, headaches, inability to focus, hot flashes, and many other difficulties.

The laboratory evaluation of neurotrans- mitter levels has shown that approximate- ly 70% of the population has some degree of neurotransmitter imbalance. This is an alarming figure, which is confirmed by the increase in the number of patient visits re- garding these conditions, and the growing number of obese people who cannot com- bat their weight due to a lack of appetite control or adrenal burnout.

How Do Chemicals Released by Our Own Brain Damage Our Bodies?
The body responds to emotional stress ex- actly as it responds to physical danger or stress. Your body produces chemicals for extra strength or energy. This physiological process has evolved over millions of years.
Moreover, the brain reacts to today’s prob- lems with yesterday’s primitive responses. In our history books we get the picture of times when our stressors related to physi- cal battles to stay alive, to eat, to provide for oneself and one’s family. Then, stress was primarily physical, as cavemen actual- ly fought wild animals. Modern stress is different—we don’t do physical battle with wild beasts, we do mental battle with free- way traffic, unending meetings, or jobs that have no future. Yet, the high-energy biochemicals needed for running or fight- ing are still pumped into our bodies. As a result, we sit in our cars or at our desks, ac- tually boiling in the chemicals our own body has released. These chemicals, adren- aline and dopamine, which power the “fight or flight” alarm reaction, can do great damage to all our internal organs, es- pecially our hearts.
Can Our Brain Run out of these Precious Chemicals?
When our brain uses up these chemicals, or when levels decrease or increase, we ex- perience anger and fear, perhaps a lack of sleep, irritability, anxiety, depression, and feelings of insecurity. In addition, the constant release of adrenaline can cause long-term damage to our organs and body systems. Over 75% of all medical appointments made in America are di- rectly related to stress!

There are five main chemicals or neuro- transmitters in the brain’s emotion center. They are opioids, GABA, serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine. When the levels of these chemicals are low, a danger- ous cycle begins. This is called the Stress Cycle and the damage it causes is deadly.

NeuroBalance PRO
My new homeopathic formula, Neu- roBalance PRO, is FDA-registered and effective for balancing all neurotransmit- ters. If you are asking yourself how one formula can address all neurotransmit- ters, including those that are functioning normally, the remedy will only affect neu- rotransmitters that are out of balance. That is the gift of homeopathic medicine: the body selects the remedy (or frequen- cy) it needs and the remedies that are not required will not work if the body/brain does not need them.

Nuclear Anti-Radiation Diet – a 21st Century Strategy to Fallout

Is a threat of radiation contamination to foods and supplies prompting us to reconsider our lifestyle, diet and choice of supplementation support?

When discussing ‘dangerous radiation levels’, most people refer to the ionizing radiation at levels reaching far above average ‘background radiation levels’ experienced every day. Non-ionizing radiation such as visible light, radar, microwaves and radio waves are virtually harmless. However, Dr. Theresa Dale, founder of the Wellness Center for Research and Education, notes that ionizing radiation has the power to break molecular bonds in living tissue, causing damage and in extreme cases, death.

Ionizing radiation is excessive energy, mass produced by unstable atoms. It comes in two forms:  waves such as X-rays and gamma rays, and particles such as alpha and beta particles.  Whenever these pass through living tissue, or are ingested, they have the potential of removing electrons from atoms, turning them into positively charged particles, or ions, which may possibly damage body’s cells.

News sources tell of major widespread nuclear radiation exposure occurring due to the accident in 2011. The latest reports indicate that both Japan’s Fukushima and California’s San Onofre Plants are having issues.  Unless the Japanese government entombs the entire Fukushima Plant as done 25 years ago at Chernobyl , it will continue spewing into the environment, land, sea and air.

Radiation contamination to food supplies should motivate continued testing not only in in Japan, but in countries around the globe, including here in the U.S. It appears that the Japanese people were misled as to the safety of their nuclear plants as well as ill advised.  They were told it was safe 20 miles or even 50 miles from the plant.  Actually, research demonstrates that 200 miles may be even too close if there is a meltdown or even a partial meltdown. Nuclear expert, Dr. John Price, a former member of the Safety Policy Unit at the UK’s National Nuclear Corporation, has warned it could take a 100 years before fuel rods at Japan’s stricken Fukushima nuclear plant are safe.  The dilemma under deliberation

is the risk involved when every organism in the food chain is jeopardized.

The Japanese lifestyle has been drastically affected due to the fact that their staple diet, which is grown in their country, including fish, rice and seaweed, is now contaminated. Oddly enough, a diet on non-contaminated seaweed and algae would be the recommended anti-radiation diet of choice.  Certain nutrients in foods play a major role against the damaging effects of radiation.  One of these being Glutathione (GSH), as it has important detoxification abilities and plays a key role in neutralizing “hydroxyradicals”.

Extensive studies published in PubMed tell of Cancer specialists that are now raising Glutathione (GSH) levels in patients who are undergoing radiation therapy as part of their cancer treatment.   The World Health Organization reported that radiation exposure cause 3% to 14% of all lung cancers alone, and other evidence indicate that radiation exposure in general cause approximately 3% of all cancers.  When exposed to radiation, a very reactive type of free radical is formed called a “hydroxyradical” and by boosting Glutathione (GSH) levels prior to treatment, Cancer patients can better

tolerate their therapy because it will help with detoxification.  Since studies have been done around the world, from

Switzerland to Spain and India to Germany, of the Glutathione (GSH) effect on radiation damage, the implication here is that Glutathione (GSH) does and will, to a greater degree, play a major role in the treatment of cancer by using detoxification to reduce the damaging effects of radiation.

After a direct experience with radiation exposure from the Chernobyl disaster while studying abroad, Dr. Theresa Dale of Wellness Center for Research and Education, created a special product called HGP to repair the pathway that produces Glutathione in the body. The best way to naturally recover from radiation is to actually fix the pathway in the body that detoxifies it – The Hepatic Glutathione Pathway. This is accomplished through balancing and adding missing nutrients

such as methycobalamine, folinic acid, N.A.C., SAMe, TMG (Trimethylglycine) for example.  Repairing the pathway is much more effective than wasting money using expensive Glutathione supplementation. The key to repairing the pathway is so the body is able to detoxify, correct and protect itself from free radicals.

Dr. Dale combined a radiation protection protocol along with HGP – using a Homeopathic RadiationX formula and a biologically available Iodine supplement.  The dosage depends on exposure length and proximity to the nuclear plant. Seaweed varieties are also excellent sources of iodine when found sourced from the U.S.   For added protection, Dr. Dale’s Anti-Radiation protocol involves Vitamin D3, an Optimal Multi Pro vitamin and Nano Ionic Minerals with Silica, along with Ocean Med’s that have high amounts of Fucoidan, a seaweed extract used for cancer and other health issues, besides the benefit of using Homeopathic RadiationX formula, and BioIodine.

In Chernobyl, for instance, spirulina was used to help save many children from radiation poisoning.  By taking 5 grams of spirulina a day for 45 days, the Institute of Radiation Medicine in Minsk even proved that children on this protocol experienced enhanced immune systems, T-cell counts and reduced radioactivity.   Israeli scientists have since treated Chernobyl children with doses of natural beta carotene from Dunaliella algae and proved that it helped normalize their blood chemistry.   Chlorella algae, a known immune system builder and heavy metal detoxifier, have also shown radio protective effects.   Note that because they bind heavy metals, algae should therefore be consumed after exposure to any type of radioactive contamination.

There exists beyond a doubt, a plethora of diets and the Nuclear Anti-Radiation Diet should demand fullest attention. In short, after radioactive exposure, eating seaweeds and algae’s are recommended. Whether someone is worried about depleted uranium, plutonium or other isotopes, this would be the wisest thing to do and certainly won’t hurt.  Washing all foods carefully helps some but do not eat foods that have been contaminated with fallout.  If the food supply has been exposed to radiation, buy frozen veggies but find out where and when they are grown and packaged. Basically, an anti-radiation diet should focus on the following organic foods:

– Miso soup (not made in Japan); Dulse or any other type of sea veggie (from the U.S., preferably Maine); high beta carotene vegetables; beans and lentils; potassium calcium and mineral rich foods; high nucleotide content foods to assist in cellular repair including spirulina, chlorella, algae, sardines, anchovies and mackerel; olive oil for drizzling on foods, not for cooking; avoiding sugars, sweets and wheat.

Dr. Dale believes that the Fukushima disaster may be far more serious and complicated than Chernobyl.  Projected paths of the radioactive atmospheric plume emanating from the Fukushima reactors, best described as airborne particles or aerosols for 131I, 137Cs, and 35S, and subsequent atmospheric monitoring showed it coming in contact with the North American continent at California, with greatest exposure in central and southern California.

Government monitoring sites in Anaheim (southern California) recorded peak airborne concentrations of 131I at 1.9 pCi m−3.  Anaheim is where Disneyland, the Magic Kingdom, is located.  Radioactive debris is beginning to wash up on the Pacific Coast with radiation levels 500% higher than normally found in coastal seaweed.   Due to the fact the Japanese are burning radioactive materials instead of disposing of them, radioactive rain-outs will continue for some time, even on the Pacific Coast.   At a time when public awareness should be at an all-time high, the government appears to be doing everything it can to cover up what is really occurring.  Furthermore, instead of raising the bar to protect their citizens from Fukushima, Japan, the U.S. and the E.U. just publicly raised the radiation levels they deem as “safe” – pretending that these levels of radiation is now good for us.

American and Canadian authorities have virtually stopped monitoring airborne radiation, and are not testing fish for radiation. Nuclear expert Arnie Gundersen says that high-level friends in the State Department told him Hillary Clinton signed a pact with her counterpart in Japan agreeing that the U.S. will continue buying seafood from Japan, despite that food is not being tested for radioactive materials. The root problem is that all of the world’s nuclear agencies are

entrapped by the nuclear industry. An effort by the Southern California Edison power company to secretly ramp up production and avoid public disclosure may have led to a tube leak at the San Onofre nuclear power plant.  A steam rupture and radioactive leak resulted from a faulty alloy tubing installation. When bracing was redesigned and more tubes were added, instead of replacing the steam generator, these extensive modifications were a way to allow SCE to squeeze more power out of the plant while avoiding scrutiny from public department NRC regulators.

Whatever the outcome of Fukushima or San Onofre, a personal strategy change over to a powerful whole plant food based diet can improve detoxification of nuclides or radioactive elements.  Dietary plant fibers, sulfur-containing antioxidants found in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, kale, and cabbage, along with pectin in fruits, and Green tea have all been shown to reduce levels of radioactive substances and provide protection against free radical damage.

So what would a 21st Century First Aid Anti-Radiation kit look like? Hopefully, for a start consider Dr. Dale’s Homeopathic RadiationX formula, HCG and BioIodine supplement product, with perhaps a few tasty, crisp, organic algae snack foods. Bon appétit!

Health Professionals and other inquiries welcome.

Fluoride is Toxic

I have compiled urgent information to enhance your awareness about Flouride. Nearly all European countries have banned fluoridation? What do they know that we

There is a link between fluoride and problems ranging from the cosmetic to the critical. Lets look at the health issues caused by fluoride:

* Dental fluorosis, which leaves your teeth brown and mottled…

* Increased bone fractures, devastatingly deadly to the elderly…

* Skeletal fluorosis, bony overgrowths that can lead to bone spurs or spinal stenosis… or perhaps even cripple you…

* Goiter or decreased function of the thyroid gland (pregnant women with low thyroid function run a higher risk for mental retardation in their children)…

* Learning and behavioral problems in children (even lowered IQ and brain damage)…

* Abnormal, mutated sperm, impotence, lowered testosterone and male infertility…

* The malignant bone cancer osteosarcoma (not to mention increased cancer of the lung, bladder and larynx)…

* And last, but certainly not least…

* Alzheimer’s disease and other degenerative brain disease (like Lou Gehrig’s and

Think twice about what’s in the water you drink (and the toothpaste you use) and make necessary changes in your patient protocol.

Is your city’s drinking water fluoridated? Find out now!

In order to find out how much fluoride is added to your city’s drinking water supply, google “city water” and the name of your city and state                        Then, click on the city’s

municipal water supply website and the fluoride content should be documented there.

Fluoride- Adverse Health Effects

Fluoride can be one of the most volatile and active harmful chemicals in the body. Fluoride can attack mercilessly, against any age group, but its effects are especially harmful to developing children and the elderly. The detrimental effects of fluoride are varied. Click here to view a list of some of the recently documented, harmful effects of drinking fluoridated water:  http://www.historyofwaterfilters.com/fluoride-2.html

The Hidden and Dangerous Side Effects of Fluoride

Controversial fluoride is one of the basic ingredients in both PROZAC (FLUoxetene

Hydrochloride) and Sarin nerve gas (Isopropyl-Methyl-Phosphoryl FLUoride).

Sodium fluoride, a hazardous-waste by-product from the manufacture of Aluminum, is a common ingredient in rat and cockroach poisons, anesthetics, hypnotics, psychiatric drugs, and military nerve gas. It’s historically been quite expensive to properly dispose of, until some aluminum industries with an overabundance of the stuff sold the public on the terrifically insane but highly profitable idea of buying it at a 20,000% markup, injecting it into our water supplies, and then DRINKING it. Yes, a 20,000% markup: Fluoride – intended only for human consumption by people under 14 years of age – is injected into our drinking water supply at approximately 1 part-per-million (PPM), but since we only drink ½ of one percent of the total water supply, the rest literally goes down the drain as a free hazardous-waste disposal for the chemical industry, where we PAY them so that we can flush their expensive hazardous waste down our toilets. How many salesmen dream of such a deal? (Follow the money.)

Independent scientific evidence repeatedly showing up over the past 50 years reveals that fluoride allegedly shortens our life span, promotes cancer and various mental disturbances, accelerates osteoporosis and broken hips in old folks, and makes us stupid, docile, and subservient, all in one package. There are reports of aluminum in the brain possibly being a causative factor in Alzheimer’s disease, and evidence points towards fluoride’s strong affinity for aluminum and also its ability to “trick” the blood- brain barrier by looking like the hydrogen ion, and thus allowing chemical access to

brain tissue.

Fluoride Effects on the Brain:

Animal studies have documented considerable evidence of direct toxic effects of fluoride on brain tissue, even at levels as low as 1 ppm fluoride in water (Varner 1998).

These effects include:

— reduction in nicotinic acetylcholine receptors;

— reduction in lipid content;

— impaired anti-oxidant defense systems;

— damage to the hippocampus;

— damage to the purkinje cells;

— increased uptake of aluminum;

— formation of beta-amyloid plaques (the classic brain abnormality in Alzheimer’s disease);

— exacerbation of lesions induced by iodine deficiency; and

— accumulation of fluoride in the pineal gland

Study on neurobehavioral function of workers occupationally exposed to fluoride “The results of the NCTB (neurobehavioral core test battery) testing show the exposed groups with significant differences for various indices as compared to the reference standards and the control, with particular deficits in attention, auditory retention, and physical dexterity and acuity as well as abnormal emotional states. This is consistent with the symptoms of endemic fluoride poisoning, suggesting occupational exposure to fluoride has a harmful effect on the higher functions of the central nervous system, and negatively influencing both cognitive and autonomic functioning. There is a definite relationship between the damage caused by fluoride and the level of exposure.”

Effects of high-fluoride on neonatal neurobehavioral development

“The effects of excessive fluoride intake during pregnancy on neonatal neurobehavioral development and the neurodevelopment toxicity of fluoride were evaluated. Ninety-one

normal neonates delivered at the department of obstetrics and gynecology in five

hospitals of Zhaozhou County, Heilongjiang province, China was randomly selected from December 2002 to January 2003. The subjects were divided into two groups (high fluoride and control) based on the fluoride content in the drinking water of pregnant women. The results showed that the urinary fluoride levels of mothers from the high fluoride group were higher than those of the control group. There were significant differences in the neonatal behavioral neurological assessment score and neonatal behavioral score between the subjects in endemic areas and the control group. There were also significant differences in the non-biological visual orientation reaction and biological visual and auditory orientation reaction between the two groups. It is concluded that fluoride is toxic to neurodevelopment. Excessive fluoride intake during pregnancy can cause adverse effects on neonatal neurobehavioral development.”

Can Fluoride Cause Cancer?

According to the National Toxicology Program, “the preponderance of evidence” from laboratory ‘in vitro’ studies indicates that fluoride is a mutagen (a compound that can cause genetic damage).

It is generally accepted that if a substance can induce genetic damage there is a heightened risk that it could cause cancer as well.

While the concentrations of fluoride causing mutagenic damage in the in vitro studies is

higher than the concentrations found in human blood, there are certain

“microenvironments” in the body (e.g. the bones) where the concentrations of fluoride

can accumulate to levels comparable to, or in excess of, those causing mutagenic effects in the laboratory.

Of particular concern are a series of studies indicating that fluoride can cause osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in both fluoride-treated male rats and boys under the age

of 20 living in fluoridated areas.

Further research:

In the May 19th issue of the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, a 12-year follow-up study of workers in the cryolite industry confirms earlier reports of a link between

occupational fluoride exposure and bladder & lung cancer.

In the May 19th paper, the authors – Dr. Philippe Grandjean & Jorgen Olsen – report:

“We previously reported the cancer morbidity from 1943 through 1987 for 422 male cryolite workers employed for more than 6 months at the mill from 1924 through 1961. We observed excess incidences of primary cancer of the lungs and of urinary bladder tumors (including bladder papilloma)… We have now extended the follow-up of this cohort by 12 years, at the end of which the total percentage of cohort members who had died exceeded 90%. These findings amplify our previous observation of increased bladder cancer rates among cryolite workers… We therefore believe that fluoride should be considered a possible cause of bladder cancer and a contributory cause of primary lung cancer.”

“The Aging Factor: How to Recognize and Avoid the Devastating Effects of

Fluoride” by Dr. John Yamouyiannis

Fluoride at levels as low as 1 part per million in the drinking water give rise to an irregular formation of collagen in the body. Collagen, which makes up about a third of our bodies, is a major component of skin, ligaments, tendons, muscles, cartilage, bones and teeth.

The disruption of this collagen is what results in wrinkling of the skin, weakening of the ligaments, tendons and muscles. When fluoride induces the breakdown or irregular formation of collage in cartilage, irreversible arthritis and stiffness of the joints is observed. Moreover, fluoride interferes with the production of collagen in cells responsible for laying down tooth enamel and bone. This results in deformed teeth and bones which is characteristic of high fluoride intake.

A book by Dr. John Yiamouyiannis, titled “Fluoride, The Aging Factor,” shows that the drug causes a premature aging process. He notes that in areas where fluoride is

consumed in the drinking water, there are higher rates of bone disorders (skeletal fluorosis, osteoporosis and arthritic pain) and people suffer from brown decaying teeth. “Fluoride is a poison!” Yiamouyiannis warns.” The 1984 issue of Clinical Toxicology of Commercial Products lists fluoride as more poisonous than lead and just slightly less poisonous than arsenic. It has been used as a pesticide for mice, rats and other small pests. A 10-pound infant could be killed by 1/100 of an ounce and a 100-pound adult could be killed by 1/10 of an ounce of fluoride. The Akron Regional Poison Center indicates that a 7-ounce tube of toothpaste contains 199 mg. of fluoride, more than enough to kill a 25-pound child.”

Explosive Facts about Sugar Substitutes

There is an increase in childhood obesity, having more than tripled in the past 30 years, affecting both immediate and long-term health. Dr. Theresa Dale, PhD, CCN, NP, feels it is dishonest to market these sugar substitute chemicals as “safe for human consumption”.

Ventura, CA (PRWEB) July 24, 2012 — Dr. Theresa Dale, PhD, CCN, NP, feels it is dishonest to market these sugar substitute chemicals as “safe for human consumption”. From fast food chains to the best restaurants, aspartame is right there next to salt and pepper, as if it merits being a part of daily life. These potentially hazardous substances are always right in our face. Children are continuously bombarded with subliminal exposure to foods and treats containing artificial sweeteners whether on TV ads or Kid’s shows. Yet, there is an increase in childhood obesity, having more than tripled in the past 30 years, affecting both immediate and long- term health. Sugar substitutes such as Splenda are 600 times sweeter than sugar, and very small amounts are needed to achieve the desired sweetness, but does it help put a lid on the desire for more sweets? A 1988 study published in the scholarly journal “Physiology and Behavior,” reports that individuals who consume non- nutritive sweeteners crave sugar more than those who don’t use these sweeteners. Researchers suggest that because artificial sweeteners are much sweeter than table sugar, they increase desire for very sweet flavors.

Among the worst offenders and the most commonly used sugar substitutes are Aspartame and Sucralose. The Aspartame Toxicity Information Center submitted an evidence based Docket to the FDA, listing over 92 different health side effects associated with aspartame consumption alone. Still to this date, fine print on packaging and marketing of aspartame products do not disclose these side effects. Side effects can occur gradually, can be immediate, or can have acute reactions. Dr. Dale feels that updating labeling laws is essential, establishing new regulations for concerned consumers with disclosure of side-effects.

How did this chemical get approved by the FDA?

NutraSweet (a brand name for Aspartame) was not approved until 1981, in dry foods. Former FDA Investigator Arthur M. Evangelista detailed the history of aspartame. To its credit, for over eight years the FDA refused to approve it because of the seizures and brain tumors this drug produce in lab animals. The FDA continued to refuse to approve it until President Reagan took office and fired the FDA Commissioner who wouldn’t approve it. The political process at work, Dr. Arthur Hull Hayes was appointed as commissioner. G.D. Searle pharmaceuticals hired Donald Rumsfeld, former member of the U.S. Congress and Chief of Staff, to handle the aspartame approval difficulties as a “legal problem rather than a scientific problem.” (US Senate 1987). There was so much opposition to approval that an FDA Board of Inquiry was set up that said: “Do not approve aspartame”. Dr. Hayes overruled his own Board of Inquiry.

Aspartame Side Effects Exposed: Grave’s Disease or Aspartame Poisoning?

According to Dr. Lendon Smith, M.D., there is an enormous population suffering from side effects associated with aspartame, yet have no idea why drugs, supplements and herbs do not relieve their symptoms. Subsequently, there are users who do not ‘appear’ to suffer immediate reactions at all; the reason being is because aspartame builds up in the body over time. Even individuals who do not have a current side effect are susceptible to the long-term damage caused by excitatory amino acids, phenylalanine, methanol, and DKP.

Let us briefly examine a few adverse reactions and side effects of aspartame:

•Psychological/Psychiatric – severe depression, irritability, aggression, anxiety, personality changes, insomnia, phobias.

PRWeb ebooks – Another online visibility tool from PRWeb

•Gastrointestinal – nausea, diarrhea (sometimes with blood in stools), abdominal pain, pain when swallowing.

•Skin and Allergies – itching without a rash, lip and mouth reactions, hives, aggravated respiratory allergies such as asthma.

•Chest – palpitations, tachycardia, shortness of breath, recent high blood pressure.

•Neurologic – epileptic seizures, headaches, migraines and (some severe) dizziness, unsteadiness, confusion, memory loss, severe drowsiness and sleepiness, paresthesia or numbness of the limbs, severe slurring of speech, severe hyperactivity and restless legs, atypical facial pain, severe tremors.

•Eyes – blindness in one or both eyes, decreased vision and/or other eye problems such as blurring, bright flashes, squiggly lines, tunnel vision, decreased night vision, pain in one or both eyes, decreased tears, trouble with contact lenses, bulging eyes.

•Ear – tinnitus, ringing or buzzing sound, severe intolerance of noise, marked hearing impairment.

•Endocrine and Metabolic – loss of control of diabetes, menstrual changes, marked thinning or loss of hair, marked weight loss, gradual weight gain, aggravated low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), severe PMS.

•Other symptoms – frequency of voiding and burning during urination, excessive thirst, fluid retention, leg swelling and bloating.

These ‘disease syndromes’ are commonly misdiagnosed because aspartame symptoms mock textbook ‘disease’

symptoms. Aspartame may trigger, mimic, or cause the following illnesses:

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Epstein-Barr, Post-Polio Syndrome, Lyme Disease, Grave’s Disease, Meniere’s Disease, ALS, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), EMS, Hypothyroidism Fibromyalgia, Lupus, non-Hodgkin’s, Lymphoma, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD).

Moreover, a 2007 article in the scholarly journal “Environmental Health Perspectives,” notes that rats exposed to aspartame in utero have a higher risk of cancer over the course of their lives. This may or may not indicate that using aspartame as an adult will increase the risk of cancer, but Theresa Dale feels that it does suggest if someone becomes pregnant, using aspartame during pregnancy might make it more likely that the unborn child will have a higher risk of cancer later in life.

It is typical that aspartame symptoms cannot be detected in lab tests and on x-rays because aspartame changes the ratio of amino acids in the blood, blocking or lowering the levels of serotonin, tyrosine, dopamine, norepinephrine, and adrenaline. Further, textbook disorders and diseases may actually be a toxic overload resulting from aspartame poisoning. Is it not common to hear someone say they have gone to the doctor with real, physical symptoms, but they can’t find the cause? Could it be a negative result of diet, environment or emotions? The Aspartame and Sucralose Detoxification Program is a safe and effective way to reverse symptoms. The Wellness Center for Research and Education suggests 8-steps to detoxifying these sugar substitutes:

•          Remove all sugar-free products with aspartame and sucralose from your diet.

•          Read Labels carefully

•          Get a Five Element Saliva Test

•          Detoxify using the Dr. Dale’s Slow Cleanse for 30 days.

•          Restore depleted nutrients with Dr. Dale’s Optimal Multi and Nano Ionic Multi.

•          Exercise and stretch 5 days per week and get plenty of rest.

•          Eat 75% raw foods at every meal.

•          Water: Drink 7 to 8 glasses (8 oz each)

Sucralose Toxicity: mouse or man?

According to a grass roots movement, the Sucralose Toxicity Information Center, research findings appear to show a significant reduction in size of the thymus gland, yet “the manufacturer claimed that sucralose was unpleasant for the rodents to eat in large doses and that starvation caused the shrunken thymus glands”. Toxicologist Judith Bellin reviewed studies on rats starved under experimental conditions, and concluded that their growth rate could be reduced by as much as a third without the thymus losing a significant amount of weight (less than 7 percent). The changes were much more marked in rats fed on sucralose. While the animals’ growth rate was reduced by between 7 and 20 percent, their thymuses shrank by as much as 40 percent. (New Scientist 23 Nov 1991, pg 13)

The most misunderstood fact about sucralose is that it is nothing like sugar even though the marketing implies that it is. Sucralose was actually discovered while trying to create a new insecticide. It may have started out as sugar, but the final product is anything but sugar. According to the book Sweet Deception, sucralose is made when sugar is treated with trityl chloride, acetic anhydride, hydrogen chlorine, thionyl chloride, and methanol in the presence of dimethylformamide, 4-methylmorpholine, toluene, methyl isobutyl ketone, acetic acid, benzyltriethlyammonium chloride, and sodium methoxide, making it unlike anything found in nature. Furthermore, read the fine print on the Splenda web site; it states that “although sucralose has a structure like sugar and a sugar-like taste, it is not natural.”

Sucralose.org stated that “the sucralose molecule contains three atoms of chlorine, and this is the key to how we intensify the sweetness of sugar and remove the calories.” Some chemists have noted that the presence of chlorine is thought to be the most dangerous component of sucralose. Chlorine is considered a carcinogen and has been used in poisonous gas, disinfectants, pesticides, and plastics. The digestion and absorption of sucralose is not clear due to a lack of long-term studies on humans since the majority of studies were done on animals for short lengths of time. Sucralose is not yet approved for use in most European countries, where it is still under review.

Sucralose does have calories; nevertheless since it is 600 times sweeter than sugar, very small amounts are needed to achieve the desired sweetness so the consumer normally won’t ingest enough to get any calories. Splenda is a popular product that contains the artificial sweetener sucralose, but that is not all that it contains. The other two ingredients in Splenda are a mixture of dextrose and maltodextrin, which are used to increase bulk and both are carbohydrates that do have calories. The USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard

Reference shows that 10 grams, i.e., ten individual packets, of Splenda (NDB No: 19868) have 33 Calories. Ten grams of Splenda contain 9.00 g of carbohydrates consisting of 8.03 g of sugars (dextrose) and 0.96 grams of starch (maltodextrin). For comparison, 10 grams of granulated sugar (NDB No: 19335) have 39 Calories. This

is only 6 calories more than the equivalent weight of Splenda. Anybody who uses Splenda instead of sugar is saving an insignificant number of calories. Because this is found in a great many products used in cooking, it can be possible to consume 1 cup or more each day. One cup of Splenda contains 96 calories and 32 grams of carbohydrates, which is often unnoticed due to the label claiming that it’s a no calorie sweetener. For people with diabetes, this is a significant amount of carbohydrates, and for people who are watching their weight, this can be a problem. Consuming an additional 100 calories a day can result in a weight gain of 10 lbs. per year!
